Before you begin posting, it is required that you read this and the other threads housed in this board. The following rules concern roleplaying on Daydreams.
• The level of roleplay on this forum should be literate-to-advanced-literate. This means that at least four paragraphs should be present in your post, though the more, the merrier. They should consist of both detail that shows you know what's going on setting-, character-, and story-wise and information that moves the roleplay along.
- A paragraph should be at least five sentences, but again, the more, the merrier.
• Because each roleplay is separate from the others, the same exact character can be in different roleplays.
• For the sake of making life easier for your fellow roleplayers, italicize your characters' thoughts, bold and color your characters' speech any color you wish, and leave description as is.
- For each character's speech, pick a different color. Make sure that only one color is assigned to only one of your characters.
• If you think/know a roleplay will involve mature themes, be sure to note so in the thread's title via the mature symbol "(M)" and reiterate so in the first post.
- If mature themes somehow sneak into the roleplay, which does happen, be sure update the title/first post ASAP.
• Similar to the fandom, Trainers can have up to six Pokémon with them in roleplays. One, and only one, of these six Pokémon may be out of its PokéBall and may serve as a companion to the Trainer in question in addition to a battle Pokémon. (Think Ash's Pikachu in the anime.) There is no limit to how many Pokémon can be kept in storage.
- The same character in different roleplays can have a different set of Pokémon with them at any given time.
• Similar to the fandom, Pokémon/applicable Pokémorphs may only have four moves each.
- The same Pokémon/Pokémorphs in different roleplays may have different moves at any given time.
• Think of titles for your roleplays, be them group roleplays or private roleplays. Show off your creativity.
• If you want to respond to someone's roleplay search thread, do not post in the thread; PM them instead.
• Though this is not necessary, Blessed Vixen recommends that, when posting a sign-up for a group roleplay, it be organized in the following fashion:
Post #3: List Of Accepted Characters
